Account Executive

We are currently looking for an **Account Executive** to join our Employee Benefits team. **Specific responsibilities include:** + Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients + Acting as a liaison with insurance carriers and as an advocate for clients + Designing benefit plans in conjunction with client needs and financial resources + Processing renewals, including competitive marketing, providing cost effective plan design alternatives, and employee contribution scenarios + Preparing spreadsheets and renewal presentations + Preparing summary plan descriptions and other employee communication materials + Providing clients with periodic financial reports to assess plans’ performance and use as a tool for renewal planning + Maintaining and managing client information in Benefit Point + Maintaining eligibility through insurance carrier portals **Please apply to join us if you meet the following requirements:** + 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience + At least 3-5 years of experience in a brokerage, consulting, insurance company, or corporate benefits environment + Valid Life and Health License + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills + Superb attention to detail + Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment + Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team + Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms. + Knowledge of COBRA, Level-funding, HSA, HRA, FSA, ACA, and ancillary lines including voluntary products + General knowledge of Medicare Department Account Management & Service Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience Required Travel: Negligible Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) HUB International Limited is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race/ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran's status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state or federal laws, rules or regulations.
