Job Summary:Extreme Networks Japan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced High-Touch Account Executive to lead and expand our business across the Western Japan region. The successful candidate will directly engage with end customers and work closely with regional partners to grow market share, especially in public sector and education-related verticals.
Territory Coverage:Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions
Target Markets:All market segments, with a strategic focus on Local Governments, boards of education, Universities, and hospitals where Extreme has strong market presenceKey Responsibilities:Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan for the Kansai and broader Western Japan areaEngage directly with Local Governments, Universities, Hospitals, and other public institutions, leveraging successful use cases in central government, local governments, and educational institutionsPromote Extreme’s key solutions such as Fabric over SD-WAN, Zero Trust networking, and the upcoming Extreme Platform OneStrengthen collaboration with key regional partners and local distributorsWork in close coordination with pre-sales SEs, partner sales teams and Marketing to drive pipeline and successful deliveryRepresent Extreme as a trusted advisor, supporting long-term customer relationships and technology adoptionRequirements:Proven experience in high-touch sales, preferably in the networking or IT infrastructure sectorDeep understanding of the public sector and education markets in JapanStrong communication, collaboration, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently while coordinating across multiple teamsStrong Japanese and English language skillsWillingness to travel frequently between Tokyo and Western Japan
