Account Executive, Assistant Vice President.
What can you expect?
The Account Executive develops and fosters long-term strategic relationships with a portfolio of clients, and are responsible for retaining, servicing and expanding key accounts. He or she is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of a portfolio of captive clients. These consist of single parent captives, group captives, insurance companies and reinsurance companies, writing property and casualty business and / or long term business. He or she develops solutions for client needs, responds to client questions and supports the creation of products and programs.

Serves as a client contact and responds to complex client needs and questions to improve the client experience
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients
Develop and foster long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients
Develops very good working relationships with other service providers and regulators
Responsible for the quality of the day to day services provided to client portfolio
Performs technical review of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
Supervises the financial audit process with the auditors
Performs functions pertaining to regulatory compliance by clients
Participates in and coordinates client meetings, including presenting at Board Meetings
Partners with Marsh colleagues in the preparation of licence applications for new insurance companies and develops relationships with prospects and new clients
Partners with Marsh colleagues in relation to strategic reviews of captives
What you need to have:
Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification with public accounting experience (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA etc.)
Fluency in Spanish
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with an insurance manager
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to Board of Directors at meetings in both Cayman and elsewhere (requiring travel outside office hours)
Experience in relation to final reporting under US GAAP and IFRS
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work as part of a team, willingness and ability to work outside regular office hours
What makes you stand out:
Knowledge of Cayman Islands insurance acts, regulations, rules and regulatory statements of guidance is preferred
Fluency in Spanish
