The Account Management team will work post-sale to cultivate senior-level relationships, provide programmatic, social, and email consultation, and ensure our clients are wildly successful on the marketing initiatives they’re running across the operating system.

Role: The Account Director is the senior leader responsible for driving the growth, retention, and overall success of a portfolio of high-value client relationships. Acting as the strategic partner and escalation point for Account Managers, the AD ensures that client needs are met with proactive solutions, data-driven insights, and a structured approach to account management. The AD works closely with internal stakeholders—Sales, Product, Trading, and Leadership—to align business priorities, identify expansion opportunities, and optimize platform usage to drive long-term revenue.​

Key Responsibilities​

​Strategic Client Growth & Retention: Develop and execute long-term account strategies that align with client business goals, deepen engagement, and maximize revenue potential. Own the health and trajectory of each assigned account, ensuring proactive risk mitigation and client success.​High-Impact Client Escalations & Relationship Management: Serve as the executive point of contact for complex client challenges, ensuring timely resolutions that reinforce trust and partnership. Navigate high-stakes discussions, balancing demands with business objectives to drive outcomes.​Leadership & Team Enablement: Mentor, coach, and develop Account Managers, setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of accountability and performance. Ensure AMs are executing against client objectives with precision and consistency, while maintaining strong cross-functional collab.​Revenue Expansion & Upsell Strategy: Identify growth opportunities by evaluating client performance, platform adoption, and market trends. Work closely with Sales to craft and present upsell and cross-sell solutions that drive incremental revenue.​Proactive Performance & Insights: Partner with Trading and Analytics teams to translate data into actionable recommendations, ensuring clients maximize platform value. Regularly lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to align on performance, renewals, and future investment strategies.​Industry Thought Leadership & Influence: Act as a trusted industry expert, providing clients with guidance on market shifts, regulatory changes, and evolving best practices. Represent the company in high-profile client meetings, events, and industry forums.​Account Framework & Operational Excellence: Implement a structured, repeatable approach to account management, ensuring scalability, consistency, and predictability in client outcomes. Optimize workflows between CS, Trading, and Product to enhance efficiency, comms, and resolution​.

Success in This Role Will Look Like:

​Building Trusted Client Partnerships: Strengthen relationships with key accounts, contributing to high renewal rates, reduced churn, and deeper client engagement.Supporting Growth and Platform Engagement: Identify opportunities to expand client investment through thoughtful upselling and cross-selling, while encouraging broader use of platform features.Collaborating for Impact: Bring account strategies to life, support the growth of Account Managers, and foster strong internal collaboration to deliver great outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required.Seven years of related experience.  Expert understanding of omnichannel digital media strategy, primarily programmatic, social and email.Familiarity with healthcare marketing and industry dynamics, including regulatory considerations and the unique needs of pharmaceutical clients.Hands-on experience with media planning tools, ad tech platforms (e.g., DSPs, ad servers), and marketing analytics platforms.Proven ability to manage and grow strategic client relationships, with a focus on retention, upsell, and long-term value.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into strategic recommendations.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience leading executive-level discussions.Experience developing processes and tools for team use, focused on improving efficiencies and client satisfaction.Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing team members, with a collaborative and empowering leadership style.Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Trading, and Analytics teams to align on client goals and drive outcomes.Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Passion for innovation in healthcare marketing and a desire to make a measurable impact on patient outcomes through technology.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $79,600.00 - $221,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
