Account Coordinator
Job Summary:

Disney Advertising is responsible for advertising sales and integrated marketing for The Walt Disney Company’s entertainment and sports offerings through linear, digital, social, audio and ad-supported streaming businesses. This includes ABC, ABC News, Disney+, Disney Channels Worldwide, Disney Digital, ESPN Networks, ESPN+, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Hulu, and its eight ABC-owned local stations.

Job Summary:

The Account Coordinator plays a key support role within the sales organization, ensuring smooth execution of sponsorship campaigns, accurate forecasting, and seamless communication between internal teams, clients, and agencies. This role is responsible for updating sponsorship tracking, maintaining the integrity of sales pipeline data, working on invoicing workflows, and facilitating targeted communication efforts. In addition, the role supports sellers with weekly marketplace insights and reporting to inform sales planning and client engagement.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

Sponsorship Tracker – Maintain oversight of sold sponsorships, ensuring timely communication with Client Connect, agencies, and EBS/SBS teams to secure necessary creative assets and meet launch deadlines, helping ensure revenue is recognized on time.SalesHub Management – Regularly input and update pipeline opportunities, monitor deal progress, adjust start dates, and confirm proper linkage of deals to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting to management.Invoicing Oversight – Coordinate with agencies to ensure timely invoice clearance, supporting prompt payment cycles and alignment with finance protocols.Agency & Client Communication – Maintain accurate contact records and support the development of targeted lists for events and outreach initiatives.Marketplace Reporting – Provide weekly updates on marketplace activity, including accounts in review and industry developments (e.g., Publicis acquisitions), to support strategic sales planning.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

Strong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentComfortable building and growing relationships internally and externallyAbility to synthesize information in a cohesive way for clients and internal teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred internship experience in the Media & Entertainment industryExperience working collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $55,800- $74,800 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
