Job Overview:

The Employee Welfare Officer is responsible for developing and implementing welfare programs tailored to hourly craft employees, organizing recreational activities, health and wellness programs, and social events in the yard and camp. They ensure the availability of necessary facilities and amenities, oversee living conditions, and address grievances regarding camp and work conditions. The Officer manages budgets for welfare activities, plans and sustains craft events, and evaluates their success. They provide counseling and support, promote health and safety awareness, and collaborate with clinics and HR/benefits teams to offer mental and physical health support. Maintaining open communication channels, they prepare reports on welfare activities and employee feedback, ensuring integrated welfare support across departments.
