Job Description

The accessioner is responsible for handling all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner, reviewing specimen packages for complete information, and routing or delivering specimens to the appropriate destination within the lab.

The role is based in a large hospital lab, which serves as the central lab for all inpatient samples. The environment is fast-paced with high throughput. The contract duration is initially three months, with potential extensions based on business needs and performance. Onboarding includes drug, medical, and BG checks, and can start once cleared. The lab is located at Legacy Emanuel, and detailed information about shifts can be found in the tracker link provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
