Guided by Access leadership, serves as a patient access representative, tasked with arranging appointments for VIP and Signature Care patients. Primary duties include managing multiple phone lines, emails, and other internal messages to coordinate scheduling procedures, appointments, and tests prescribed by physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff across various departments and locations. Additionally, is charged with reaching out to patients who lack a primary care provider (PCP), assisting them in establishing and scheduling with a PCP. All functions of the role allow real time monitoring of template utilization, lead times, and other key Access KPIs. Education
High school graduate or equivalent of a GED. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

ExperienceMust have experience in customer service or healthcare operations. Experience with Microsoft suite of products preferred.
Other QualificationsMust be able to demonstrate general computer skills with basic knowledge and use of internet. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have good computer key boarding skills, ability to operate multi-line phone and standard office machines, including experience using Microsoft Office applications. Must demonstrate professional telephone etiquette, exceptional organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to deal with multiple tasks at the same time while maintaining attention to detail. Must be creative and forward thinking when faced with challenges.
