Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated A/C Supervisor to lead our HVAC team in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems across the resort. This role is vital to maintaining guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction while upholding the highest standards of a five-star luxury property.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the A/C Technicians and Handymen.

Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programs for HVAC equipment.

Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.

Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and resort policies.

Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.

Ensure accurate recording of maintenance logs, service reports, requisitions, and inspections.

Lead troubleshooting during major breakdowns and support renovation projects.

Train, guide, and motivate the team, ensuring high performance and adherence to service standards.

Control operational costs by monitoring the use of spare parts, consumables, and contractor services.

Provide input to engineering management on labor requirements, scheduling, and future maintenance needs.

Qualifications

 

2–3 years’ supervisory experience in HVAC, ideally within a five-star luxury hotel or resort.

Documented technical/vocational training in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.

Proven skills in diagnosing and resolving both electrical and mechanical HVAC faults.

Excellent communication skills in English.

A team player with strong leadership qualities.

Ability to work flexible hours.
