Abbeville CV Production Supervisor
Job Description:

Supervises a production shift in an assigned process area.The shift supervisor must lead shop floor associates to ensure daily operational goals and metrics are met as required by the Process Manager/Leader in a safe and clean environment while producing a quality product.

Brief Summary of Primary Duties:

Communicate and administer Prysmian policies and proceduresEnsure a safe work environment at all timesTroubleshoot process and equipment issuesCoordinate between different groups such as logistics and maintenanceResolve conflicts on the shop floorPerform necessary clerical activities such as time or record keepingDrive quality and cost saving initiativesDrive Lean principlesGuide, mentor, and lead shop floor associates

Specific Skills/Training Required

Computer skills & ability that allow them to enter data, use email, and basic office programsAbility to coordinate multiple tasks efficientlyAbility to use written work instructions to complete taskAbility to use measuring equipment –including but not limited to OD tapes, calibers, micrometers,Hazardous Waste TrainingFirst Responders Training

Education:

High School/GED Diploma requiredAssociate, or bachelor’s degree in business preferred

Experience:

Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required

Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:

Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areasHearing Protection required in posted areasOther PPE as required for the jobAbility to stand 8-12 hours on concrete floors
