**Job Summary:** The Abatement Superintendent will lead and oversee asbestos abatement projects. Your expertise in project management, coupled with your knowledge of asbestos abatement regulations, will drive the success of our operations.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
1. Lead and manage asbestos abatement projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations.
2. Provide strategic direction to project teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standards.
3. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, optimizing resource utilization.
4. Monitor project progress, ensuring quality standards and budget constraints are met.
5. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project operations.
6. Implement and enforce safety policies, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and AHERA guidelines.
7. Conduct regular inspections to identify risks and address issues proactively.
8. Review and approve project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
9. Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
10. Cultivate strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
**OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in asbestos abatement or project management preferred.
2. Proven experience in a leadership role in asbestos abatement projects.
3. In-depth knowledge of asbestos abatement regulations and industry standards.
4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
5. Exceptional leadership abilities, inspiring and guiding project teams.
6. Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
7. Strong problem-solving skills for resolving complex issues.
8. Proficient in interpreting technical specifications and drawings related to asbestos abatement.
9. Familiarity with project management software preferred.
10. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
