The Behavioral Services Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and facilitating the interviewing and hiring process for candidates for the Behavior Interventionist position and other behavioral therapy positions within Autism Services for assigned region/territory.

 

This position is primarily remote, but the candidate must reside in the Southern California area and be able to travel to in-person meetings in Irvine, as well as to college/career fairs.

 

Hiring Range: $34.00 - $37.00/Hour DOE

Responsibilities Under supervision and direction from the Talent Acquisition Manager, executes on recruitment strategy and acts as primary recruitment contact for assigned region/territory within Autism Services, in a high volume, metrics-driven recruitment environment.Utilizes various tools, strategies and technologies in order to engage candidates, including posting
open positions on various websites, and employing direct sourcing methods to find, engage and qualify talent for the Behavior Interventionist role as well as select other hard-to-fill niche positions within Autism Services.Conducts pre-screenings of candidates and determines their fit for the role, organization and company culture.Schedules candidates for further steps in the recruitment process, including more screenings or interviews directly with the hiring manager and their team.Makes salary recommendations to managers and verbal employment offers to selected candidates, including any associated paperwork to initiate the onboarding process.Serves as an advocate for both the candidate as well as Easterseals in order to find a strong match for both parties that will help to advance Easterseals' business operational and strategic goals.Focuses on improving retention of Associates in Autism Services by hiring the right talent and collaborating closely with the onboarding team to ensure new hires are supported and engaged throughout the pre-employment process.Partnering closely with internal candidates, guiding them through the process and advising them on potential advancement opportunities and how to leverage their ESSC experience to take the next step in their career.Maintains and prepares records and metrics related to talent acquisition efforts with the use of ongoing and ad hoc reports, recruitment resources, HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.Builds and maintains strong collaborative working partnerships with hiring managers by understanding their business needs, and delivering strong candidates consistently for their regions.Collaborates with team members to achieve department objectives and engages in development opportunities where appropriate.Follows talent acquisition processes in accordance with policies, practices , EEO/AA, and other legal requirements. Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree, or relevant equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE:

1-2 years of experience working in a recruitment or staffing role, preferably within a high- volume and metrics-driven recruitment environment.Experience with Workday Recruit a plus.Prefer experience recruiting or working with Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapists.Experience representing an organization and recruiting talent at in-person events including career fairs, conferences and campus recruitment events.Experience establishing and maintaining credibility and working relationships with all levels of
management and colleagues.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Ability to utilize current business and management principles involved in strategic staffing, recruit electronically (i.e. social media, message boards, niche websites), and ability to maintain applicant tracking systems.Ability to interpret and apply current state/federal laws and regulations to organizational guidelines and policies, as they apply to all recruitment efforts, communications and representations.Ability to work independently and in a team setting, and to shift priorities while maintaining high quality results.Ability to work in a production environment with associated metrics.Excellent written and oral communication skills, to train and work cooperatively with a variety of individuals and groups.Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information and complete tasks in an ethical manner.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Deep knowledge of general employment laws and regulations.Ability to interface with all levels of management.Ability to be detail oriented.Open to feedback and willing to strive to improve own performance based on feedback.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, Windows and web-based Applicant Tracking Systems.Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation, per Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements.Ability to travel locally; maintain driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards; maintain auto insurance and vehicle registration.
