Main responsibilities:

Deliver GL monthly closing & reporting services to Budapest HUBPerform monthly closing activities as per Group timetablePrepare management, tax, legal and statutory reporting at Group and country levelsAddress operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely mannerDeliver operational KPIs and comply with Sanofi policies and guidelinesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives

The Closing & Reporting Accountant reports to the Closing & Reporting Team Lead and works closely with Finance (Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Internal Control...), other Budapest HUB departments, Customer Service and the A2R team.

About you

Experience:

Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance (advantageous)Some relevant experience in accounting, closing & reporting processes and activities

Soft skills:

Ability to interact with internal clients in a professional mannerGood communication skillsHas an analytical approachSelf-motivated, well organized, hard-working, detail-minded, clear thinker, quick learnerWell-inclined towards change and has the ability to work under pressureTeam player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with front line teams with an end-to-end mindset (essential)Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel

Education:

Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance (advantageous)

Languages:

Excellent EnglishFrench knowledge is a plus
