A/R Specialist
**Job Title** : Collector / Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist **Location** : Eagan, MN Adecco is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collector / A/R Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to locate and communicate with customers regarding delinquent accounts through mail, phone, or in-person visits to facilitate payment. This position requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and strong organizational abilities to manage and maintain accurate account records. **Key Responsibilities:** + Receive payments and accurately post amounts to customer accounts. + Identify, monitor, and follow up on overdue accounts. + Contact customers via telephone or in-person to understand reasons for overdue payments and review terms of sales, services, or credit agreements. + Encourage customers to settle outstanding balances on credit accounts, damage claims, or non-payable checks, and facilitate the return of merchandise when necessary. + Work with customers to arrange debt repayment or establish repayment plans based on their financial situation. + Prepare statements for the credit department if customers do not respond and maintain thorough records of collection activities. **Qualifications:** + 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field + Strong communication and negotiation skills. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software is a plus. **Pay Details:** $24.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
