Kforce has a client in Lakeland, FL that is seeking a remote A/R Specialist to help with an A/R Project. Summary: The A/R Specialist is responsible for supporting the A/R team. The A/R Specialist also help with general duties such as monitoring and researching aging reports to manage account balances while working with internal partners to provide data on past due accounts. The A/R Specialist also works with external clients that are past due to build relationships to better understand why they are unpaid and work with them to provide a payment solution. Responsibilities: * Manage A/R inbox to respond to inquiries * Correspond with customers to verify and retrieve proper contact information * Conduct research and analysis of open AR for numerous national divisions * Prepare and maintain various reports of AR to send out to regional directors * Maintain accurate aging reports * Identify and execute the necessary process of adjustments to accounts * Send outstanding brokerage statement to clients for payment * Perform daily follow-up with outstanding clients/sales team members * Reconcile AR to the GL
