Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in our Westmont, IL office. This role is responsible for processing accounts payable transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.

Job ResponsibilitiesProcess various types of accounts payable transactions including data entry of vendor invoices, manual and emergency check requestsAnswer property inquiries via e-mail and phone in a timely and professional mannerUnderstand and comply with all JLL A/P policies and proceduresMonitor and enforce compliance by all JLL employees involved in the A/P process in respect to standard A/P policies and proceduresPerform various other duties as assigned by a supervisorAssist in training of new A/P employees as neededCommunicate effectively with internal and external customers and vendors as neededQualificationsTwo years of A/P or accounting related experience preferredHigh School degree required, College degree desirable with some accounting courseworkExperience in an electronic accounts payable processing environment preferredComputer system skills including Microsoft softwareKnowledge of A/P systems desirable, including YardiKey CompetenciesAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesWillingness and ability to accept responsibilityStrong oral and written communication skillsFlexibility in completing job responsibilities as priorities changeCapability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailCollaborative team player mentalityAvailability to work overtime when requiredWork EnvironmentFull-time position based in our Westmont, IL officeOn-site work schedule, 5 days per weekProfessional office environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits packageProfessional development opportunitiesCollaborative team environmentOpportunity to work with a global leader in real estate services

Estimated total compensation for this position:

45,000.00 – 55,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
