**Job Title: A&P Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance primarily on Boeing 767's 300's, which are mainly Amazon cargo planes. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with FAA, manufacturers, and company maintenance requirements. **Responsibilities** + Overhaul, maintain, and repair airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment, and associated components in accordance with company and manufacturer’s manuals, policies, procedures, and orders. + Sign off on work accomplished. + Remain constantly alert for defective, worn, or failed parts as well as ensure a safe working environment. + Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining a clean work area and assisting in the repair and maintenance of company property. + Complete tasks assigned by the Supervisor or higher management. + Exercise authority under RII provisions, reporting directly to the Director of Quality Control when necessary. + Attend all company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance. **Essential Skills** + Possession of an A&P License. + Minimum of 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience. + Experience in aircraft maintenance on Boeing aircraft. + Proficient in heavy maintenance tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be considered for entry-level roles. + Experience in line maintenance is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and enjoy comprehensive benefits including eligibility for insurance coverage after 30 days, with plans covering health, vision, dental, and company-paid life insurance. Work predominantly takes place outdoors, requiring candidates to bring their own basic toolset, and work out of mobile cases or trucks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
