A/P Manager
Job Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join a large QSR company. This is a hands-on role, where you will be responsible for 2 direct reports and a few offshore team members. This will begin as a 6-month contract then convert to a full-time position with 100k base salary. As of November 2025, you will be required to work in-person at the downtown Toronto office 4x / week. The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for such duties:  Responsible for routine payment cycles and escalation management related to P2P.  Responsible for vendor master data governance.  Responsible for the journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations associated with Accounts Payable.  Establish cohort relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Real Estate and IT.  Ensuring for all Accounts Payable routines performed and ensuring activities performed are done under SOX compliance.  Ensure timely and accuracy metrics throughout team are met or exceeded.  Driving team engagement activities  Ensure established control procedures are adhered to, and support internal governance  Develop, implement, and improve upon processes across Procure to Pay department We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 2+ years of experience as a people manager (giving feedback, appraisals, escalations, work closely with the offshore team is a plus)  6+ years of professional experience in Finance and A/P at an enterprise level company.  Working knowledge of P2P (Procure to Pay) - Requisition, Sourcing, Purchase Orders, Receiving.  Hands-on experience with SAP ECC preferred  Analytic tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to understand logic and synthesize executive summary.  University Degree in Finance or Accounting.
