Corporate operations provide a wide range of services to the organization such as finance, internal audit, communications, security and human resources.
This position will participate and collaborate in day-to-day business to develop the portfolio of commercial accounts and offer support in the underwriting process by ensuring it complies with the goals and objectives of production and profitability.
About the role
Underwrite and participate in business events such as broker visits.Generate competitive proposals that solve client problems, such as integrating coverage requests and addressing internal and external client concerns.Optimize processes by identifying areas of opportunity to reduce process inconsistencies such as delivery timesCreate business proposals with well-thought-out products and explain product features to internal and external clients to meet their needs.Risk analysis: use of quote tools through Excel, and AIG's online quote platforms to prepare proposals for the client.Follow up on new proposals and analyze renewals to verify if they require an adjustment due to the claims submitted.Manage policy adjustments (additions and cancellations per insured)Prepare claims reports and analysis of individual accounts on a monthly basis and as needed by the business.Profile
Education: Can come from any careerExperience: Underwriting experience in the market for personal lines, accidents and health. Experience in supporting business planning to reach budget goals and data entering.PC skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, he/she will learn to run macros), Word, PowerPoint, IE and Outlook.Skills: Abilities towards proactivity, engagement and committed are preferred. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Communication: strong ability to open communication and developing peer relations. Capacity to optimize work processes. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and develop financial reports.
