This is an exciting opportunity to hold a core role in Chubb's underwriting team, based in Istanbul. You will have responsibility for the growth and maintenance of the Corporate A&H Portfolio’s. You will proactively support, expand and bring enthusiasm to optimise our business, becoming part of an international specialist, with access to Chubb colleagues around the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To underwrite and produce new business and renewals according to defined underwriting guidelines, specified budget and business plans and to maximise cross-selling opportunities within the region To represent and promote Chubb at all levels; to Brokers, Cedents, Clients and to all other internal and external stakeholders To develop market awareness, provide flexible strategies to support changing market dynamics and to deliver outstanding service at all times To establish and deliver strong and consistent operational performance in respect of procedures, processes and controls including adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements To engage in and develop growth plans and improvement of profitability by reviewing the business operation and providing feedback to the A&H Manager

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Technical knowledge of A&H businessWillingness to continue to develop both technical and broader business skillsResults driven with an ability to work on own initiative and deliver resultsA professional who is recognised by the market that exudes all qualities encouraged of a Chubb UnderwriterComprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the insurance market and competitorsProven experience of dealing with brokers and clientsAbility to make own decisionsFluent English essential.
