Chubb is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented A&H Fast Track Team Manager to join our growing international team at the EMEA Claims Centre in Madrid. In this key leadership role, you will oversee a team of 16 claims processors within the Accident & Health claims function, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and high-quality outcomes for our customers across the EMEA region. Your team will be composed of individuals with various language capabilities, supporting activities for multiple countries and ensuring comprehensive service delivery. You will lead and motivate your diverse team, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include managing the claims handling process for a diverse portfolio of Fast Track Claims, ensuring adherence to operational, regulatory, and service standards. You will leverage your expertise to conduct regular process reviews and drive enhancements in claims management strategies. This role emphasizes the alignment of best practices across the wider EMEA region, with a focus on improving customer and operational delivery. Key Responsibilities

Lead Team Development: Coach, mentor, and lead a team of 16 claims processors handling Fast Track Claims. Monitor and evaluate team activity to consistently improve performance and develop talent. Lead by example and promote Chubb's CODE culture, ensuring adherence to Chubb Claims Handling Guidelines. Implement Claims Strategies: Be responsible for the implementation of Accident & Health (A&H) claims strategies and develop core processes to ensure the delivery of efficient service levels appropriate to the products sold. Set and Monitor Performance Targets: Identify stretch targets for key outcomes and report on performance metrics, including Cycle Time, Fast Track processing, CSP (Portal) usage, NPS & CSAT, Quality, and response times for Acknowledging correspondence and Effecting Payment. Generate Reports: Provide the claims manager with monthly and ad-hoc claims reports, managing performance and identifying areas for improvement. Manage Relationships: Assist with the management of key stakeholders and business relationships while building and maintaining strong client relations through timely and clear communication. Ensure Compliance: Ensure key controls are active and effective, adhering strictly to all compliance and regulatory requirements impacting the claims function. Utilize the claims peer review process to seek constant improvement. Facilitate Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to keep the team updated on industry  practices and Chubb policies. Recruitment and Onboarding: Involve yourself in the recruitment and  onboarding processes of new team members to ensure a strong and capable workforce aligned with the center's goals. Support Growth and Strategy Implementation: Actively support the growth and strategic implementation of the Madrid Claims Centre, contributing to initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. Represent Chubb: Act as a representative of Chubb at internal and external meetings.  Contribute to Process Improvement: Analyze claims data and trends to identify opportunities for improving processes and enhancing customer service delivery across the EMEA region.

 

Requirements and Experience 

Bachelor’s degree in law is preferred.Proven leadership, team management, and motivational skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.Previous claims management experience at a Team Leader or Supervisor level, demonstrating the ability to lead effectively in a claims environment.Experience with Accident & Health (A&H) or other commercial lines claims is advantageous and will be considered a valuable asset.Competent in Microsoft Office Suite with a sound understanding of the insurance and reinsurance market preferred.Strong problem-solving competencies with a practical and common-sense approach to addressing challenges encountered in day-to-day operations.Solid experience in claims handling within an insurance company or brokerage environment, showcasing expertise in the claims process. Exceptional integrity, dedication, and attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.Excellent communication, numeracy, and organizational skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders. Capability to analyze data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and facilitate continuous improvement.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and third-party stakeholders.Proficiency in additional languages is a plus, reflecting the international nature of the EMEA team.
