Job Description:

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech- Procedure Area

Four 10-hour shifts per week, 0700-1730

On-Call rotation is MANDATORY on weeknights, weekends, and holidays evenly split between all staff. On call hours are 1730-0700 weeknights and 0700-0700 on weekends and holidays.

Under the direction of a physician, coordinates x-ray exposure of patients. Assists with patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures including but not limited to cardiac, peripheral, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures performed.

Job Duties

Follows the prescribed techniques in administering fluoroscopy and Cineradiography.Sets up, operates, and troubleshoots equipment.Functions as a productive member of the patient care team.Demonstrates a positive attitude toward and willingness to facilitate team buildingAssists physicians with procedures.

Requirements

HS Diploma/GEDBLS and ACLS requiredMust have ARRT & KBMIRT licenses for Radiology Tech

Preferred Requirements

Preferred experience in Cardiovascular procedures
