Dynamic, fast-paced capital markets 6 month Internship with specific exposure to Global Markets.

Through our six month Internship, you will get direct work experience and exposure to the Global Markets business at CIBC. CIBC offers a broad suite of capital markets trading products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients around the world.

As a Global Markets Intern you will have the opportunity to:

Participate in an orientation session to learn more about the bank and our Capital Markets business in Europe.

Gain exposure to specific asset classes by working alongside experienced sales and trading professionals

Assist in idea generation, financial markets analysis, risk monitoring and trading desk related project work

Attend and contribute to team meetings

Key Requirements:

Student in a quantitative or technology discipline with strong academic results

Good analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills; programming knowledge an advantage

A team player who can communicate complex ideas simply and effectively

Fluent in English and the right to work in the UK
