MAIN JOB PURPOSE 

 

Operate forklift / Overhead crane in accordance with agreed standard procedures and ensure that safety standards are performed. Ensure that full inspections are maintained, recorded and reported to the Cold End Co-ordinator. Ensure that all the glass is packed and stored according to requirements in the correct manner and location.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

 

School – Mandatory Grade 12 In possession of a valid code 8 drivers licence In possession of a valid 5/12ton forklift licence In possession of a valid overhead crane licence

 

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE

 

5 ton forklift – 6 months experience in a glass handling environment 12 ton forklift – 1 year experience in glass handling environment.
