What You’ll Work On: 

Leverage expertise in virtualization to perform network design and integration of products to support focused research efforts and projects.  

Deploy and maintain small and large-scale telecommunication environments for testing and development.  

Troubleshoot system connectivity and registration issues.

Work collaboratively with a team of researchers, data scientists, developers, and telecommunications experts.

You Have: 

3+ years of experience in system administration

Experience with enterprise Linux management, including Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, Solaris, or Ubuntu 

Experience with operations and administration of virtualization infrastructure  

Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Bash, or Ruby

Knowledge of cloud or containerized technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, virtualization, or software-defined networking 

Knowledge of telecommunications networks and components 

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

Experience with administering Kubernetes Clusters 

Experience with VCenter and ESXi Clusters

Experience with Open vSwitch

Experience with data analytics tools such a Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Kibana 

Experience with telecommunications networks and components, including 3G, 4G, or 5G 

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
