3rd shift Supervisor, Sanitation Services

A Kitchen Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and overseeing the sanitation team. Here are some key duties and responsibilities typically associated with this role.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Pay: $21.75/hour  

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervision and Coordination: Oversee and schedule the work of the sanitation staff, including hiring, training, and managing their daily activities Sanitation Procedures: Implement and monitor cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high sanitation standards Inspection and Reporting: Regularly inspect kitchen areas to identify sanitation, safety, and pest control issues, and prepare reports on sanitation activities Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and replenished as needed Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals Training: Train staff on sanitation procedures, including the use of protective gear and hazardous material disposal. Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to sanitation staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained

Qualifications:

Education: Typically, a high school diploma or equivalent is required Experience: Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or sanitation work, along with supervisory experience Skills: Knowledge of sanitation procedures, safety protocols, and pest control. Strong organizational and leadership skills
