3rd Shift Shipping & Receiving MOTC

Job Description

Under the direction of the Distribution Coordinator and Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, the MOTC will operate all MATRICS activities for the Distribution department. The MOTC will receive Inbound shuttles, check-in truck drivers, and assign tasks to LTOs. MOTC will also provide LTO coverage as needed and provide backup to the Distribution Coordinator as needed. Key Responsibilities of the Role: Truck Controller: check-in truck drivers and Shuttle Drivers. Assign truck driver and Shuttle drivers to dock doors. Ensure Truck shipping assignments do not go into detention. (Extended loading time) Matrics Operator: Operate Matrics to assign shipping, and receiving task to LTO’s. Task out Pick orders to Pick Line team. Ensure Daily Shipping Receiving KPIs are met. Must be LTO Certified; will provide LTO coverage as needed. Able to operate all warehouse MHE equipment. FC models and Single Double attachments. Operating Matrics when needed as a LTO, verify the correct destination of the product. Note any discrepancies and work with the Distribution Coordinator on discrepancies. Accurately complete any necessary paperwork regarding incoming/outgoing pallets. Maintain a clean working environment to prevent injuries and meet product quality standards. Assist in unloading any incoming R&P materials and transfers as needed. Ensure safe operation of Lift Trucks and ensure any minor maintenance to the Lift Trucks is completed. Open a MHE Work Order for any repairs needed. Maintain constant communication with DC Coordinators and supervisors to stay aware of any arising issues. Backup DC Coordinator as needed. Employees must maintain QRMP and Quality standards. Shift flexibility: to include covering other shifts & weekend assignments as needed. Department flexibility as needed; to include Plant Docks and other Departments within the WHSE. Participate in all DDS meetings: Safety review, Ideal Defect Board, MHE Board, KPI review, and Info Link charts. Follow all Warehouse Traffic rules. Work with the Customer Service Team to complete all shipping processes. Knowledge/experience/competencies Safety Awareness – Knowledgeable of all safety processes and ensure they are balanced.
