Job Description Summary:

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for efficient and safe manufacturing processes through the supervision of manufacturing team members. A flexible work schedule is a must. Start and end time may change based on business needs. This position must adhere to the production schedule and ensure that safety and quality standards are met.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Lead entire shift operations while delivering key performance indicators (safety, quality, cost, and service)Manage manufacturing processes, this may include other departments as necessaryStaff, train, evaluate and mentor/develop team members.Promote safe work practices and environment to mitigate work hazards and meet safety metrics.Monitors the manufacturing process, makes periodic checks, and adjusts equipment or work practices according to standard operating procedures.Ensures equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are always safe (Machine guards, hazards, etc.)Verify the readiness of the production line at start-up and supervise change overs.Pursue and maintain high-quality over manufacturing processes to ensure all standards and specifications are maintained (Ex: KORE, ISO, etc.)Review daily achievement of targets and report variances during on-the-floor and off-floor review meetings. (USLE, IQS, etc.)Ensure the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures. Champion and lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.Review daily maintenance effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement and work with the team to get resolution.Build relationships with frontline team members, internal customers and suppliers, colleagues, and support services to ensure achievement of targets.Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

High School diploma or GED2-4 years of related supervisory experienceRequires experience managing people and performance metrics.Strong computer and database application skillsSelf-motivated and disciplined team playerStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organizational skillsComputer and database application skillsAbility to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.Ability to identify and resolve process, systems, and/or mechanical failures.This position must pass post-offer background check and drug test.

Pay Range:

$100,000 - $124,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
