Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for projects located in and around Akron, NY.  This is a third shift opportunity with a pay range of $32-35/hour based on experience plus $125/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Maintenance Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

Install, Repair, and Maintain Electrical Systems such as Motors, Starters, VFDs, Transformers, Wiring, Switches, and Alarm Systems, in compliance with the National Electrical Code and Local RegulationsConduct Preventative Maintenance on Machinery to include Replacing Wires and Connections, Welding, Soldering, Lubricating Moving Parts, Cleaning Filters, Recalibrating Controls, Changing Gaskets, Adjusting Components, and Deep Cleaning EquipmentTroubleshooting Equipment Malfunctions using Diagnostic Tools

Requirements:

Experience in Maintaining and Repairing Refrigeration Systems; Experience Working with Various Refrigerants, Pipe Fitting, and using Specialized Tools like Gauges and Vacuum PumpsStrong Adherence to Safety ProtocolsAble to Maintain a Clean and Organized WorkspaceProven Experience in both Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance
