Description Job Title: Material Specialist Location: John Deere Waterloo Works — Drivetrain Division, Waterloo, IA Work Hours: 3rd Shift | 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Potential overtime, including extended weekdays or weekends Company Overview: Robert Half is partnering with John Deere, a global leader in advanced manufacturing, to hire a dedicated Material Specialist for the Drivetrain Division in Waterloo. Position Summary: As a Material Specialist, you’ll spend about half of your time on the shop floor, coordinating material processes and supporting production operations. You’ll use your organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and computer proficiency to help ensure smooth material flow and inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities: + Coordinate and support material processes on the shop floor. + Ensure inventory accuracy and resolve any material flow issues. + Use MS Office tools, especially Excel, to track and report on materials data. + Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to support production needs. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required. + Manufacturing experience is a plus. + Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
