Job Requirements

This Req to be used for Internal movement of engineers from CPD.

As a Design engineer – Mechanical, you will be responsible for Design, 3D modelling, 2D drawing creation, and preparing the BOM, and releasing the documents in PDM/SAP for our innovative rail vehicles using Creo. Your task, and responsibilities are as follows:

Understanding the existing 2D drawings of various levels – parts, sub assembly and Installation drawings.Creating the 3D models of lower levels parts and sub-assemblies.Understanding the BOM and creating the 3D models & 2D drawings for installations of various sub-systems.Creating the SAP documents and releasing them in SAP along with BOM.Finding the same/equivalent hardware’s from library as per the existing information.Work with other engineers and clients to ensure the designs meet the project requirements.Identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently and communicate effectively with team.

Work Experience

We are looking for experienced professionals who fulfil the following requirements and criteria.

We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 3-10 years of experience in Creo, rolling stock experience is preferred.Good understanding of engineering drawings and standards.In-depth knowledge of Creo & Windchill.Experience in Sheetmetal and large assemblies and drawing creation using CreoExperience in legacy conversionGood communication and presentation skills complete your profile.Knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage.
