Are you passionate about 3D design, procedural materials, and cutting-edge technology? At HUGO BOSS, we are looking for a creative and skilled individual to join our 3D Material Library team. In this role, you will take ownership of material creation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the future of digital fashion innovation. What you can expect:
\nProfessional participation and ownership in material creation within the 3D Material Library team with focus on procedural materials and modelling of trimmings\nEnsure efficiency in the creation of 3D assets in close collaboration between Design, R&D colleagues and the digital creation team to further develop the material pool\nSupport designers and engineers in the further development of quality of material\nTechnology research and self-responsible skill-building (automated scalable 3D workflows, AI tools)\nCollaborate with external partners in developing and improving material standards\nInternal and external knowledge transfer\n
Your profile:
\nStudies of game design or media informatics which relates to VFX production\nStrong experience in creating 3D materials based on textile know-how and usage of different render engines\nHolistic knowledge of 3D workflows and trainings (incl. modelling, texturing, compositing, rendering)\nMinimum 2-3 years of working experience in a comparable field of activity\nSkills in Substance Suite especially in Substance Designer is needed\nBroad experience in Blender\nKnowledge in CLO3D \nInterest in the fashion industry and its product development processes\nConceptual and communicative skills as well as strong interpersonal skills are among your strengths\nFluent in English – German would be a plus\n
