Key Responsibilities:
Performs repairs and preventive maintenance services
Performs inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment
Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate and assign repairs
Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs
Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns
Conducts safety checks on all vehicles and equipment
Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associates with repairing vehicles, documenting part usage and accounting for repair times
Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with corporate / OHSA standards
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Working alongside apprentices to provide them with assistance and guidance
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
310 T Truck and Coach Technician License
Valid “G” driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
