Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Telecash Night Processing Support)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our team to support the Telecash night processing application. This role involves maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, active participation in on-call troubleshooting, and the deployment of Change Requests (CRs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with night operations support.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable application deployments.Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and optimize the deployment process.Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues to ensure smooth integration and delivery.

On-Call Troubleshooting:

Provide 24/7 on-call support for the Telecash night processing application.Quickly respond to and resolve incidents, minimizing downtime and impact on services.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

CR Deployments:

Coordinate and execute the deployment of Change Requests (CRs) in a timely and accurate manner.Review CRs for completeness and ensure necessary approvals are obtained.Validate deployed changes and ensure they meet business and technical requirements.

Maintenance and Optimization:

Regularly maintain and update existing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance system reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and business teams.Availability for on-call support and flexibility to work night shifts as required.
