Description We are looking for a skilled mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with over three years of experience to join our mid-sized law firm client's team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role involves handling diverse commercial litigation cases, including business disputes, real estate conflicts, and bankruptcy matters. The position is primarily office-based, with occasional opportunities to work remotely. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in commercial litigation cases, including business disputes, real estate issues, and bankruptcy proceedings. • Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with clarity and precision. • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client interests. • Manage all aspects of discovery, including preparing and responding to requests for documents and interrogatories. • Participate in depositions, mediations, and court hearings to advocate for client interests. • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective legal strategies. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and effective representation. • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients, when appropriate. • Provide clear and regular communication to clients regarding case progress and outcomes. Requirements • Must have at least 3 years of experience in civil litigation. • Active license to practice law in the state of Arizona is required. • Strong skills in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documentation. • Proven ability to manage discovery processes effectively, including document production and interrogatories. • Excellent legal research and analytical skills. • Strong oral and written communication abilities, including courtroom advocacy. • Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
