Shift: 2nd Shift Hours are 4:20pm-2:50am - some additional overlap with first shift maybe required 

Overtime is worked on Fridays and schedule requires

We are a growing metal fabrication company looking for a hands-on, people-first Production Lead to oversee our 2nd shift operations, including welding, machining, and tube bending departments (Currently about 12 direct reports). If you’re passionate about developing teams, driving results, and creating a positive shop culture, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

Lead, coach, and support a team of skilled operators and fabricators on 2nd shift Ensure production goals are met with high quality and efficiencySet daily priorities based on production schedules and coordinate across departmentsMonitor safety, quality, and performance metrics, making on-the-spot adjustments as neededServe as the go-to person for problem-solving on the floorCommunicate clearly with 1st  shift leads to ensure smooth handoffs and continuityFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementProvide backup coverage for the Production SupervisorMay perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environmentSolid understanding of welding, machining, and/or tube bending operationsStrong communicator who can give direction and feedback with clarity and respectProven ability to coach, mentor, and develop individuals and teamsComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environmentCommitted to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
