If you’re a self-starter with a solid knowledge of general plant activities have good communication skills and 1 year or more of supervisory experience this is your chance to lead a production team with purpose! **Qualifications:** + Self-starter with a solid knowledge of general plant activities. + Positive and proactive attitude + Troubleshooting skills + Good communication skills including the ability to review and discuss production results and reports. + Ability to work 8–12-hour shifts **Minimum Qualifications:** + 1 (or more) years of production supervisory experience. + Knowledge of Plant Safety practices + High School Diploma **Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:** + Manage the plant workforce + Interview and hire for workforce needs. + Understanding the union contract and company rules. + Monitor attendance + Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) + Ensure that the production schedule is followed and minimize machine downtime. + Assist with Training continuously to improve skills of workforce. + This is a hands-on task that the Manager needs to ensure that all plant personnel are properly trained. + Perform maintenance tasks throughout the plant + Fill in and help areas of the plant as needed. + Help with continuous improvement projects throughout the plant + Hold monthly Quality / Safety Meetings + Ensure that all safety practices and policies are followed including lockout/tagout. + Maintain plant cleanliness. **Why Manpower?** + We’re local!
