Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a 2nd Shift Manager at our Ship Hub, located in Charlotte, NC. If you are a proven leader in warehouse management, order fulfillment, inventory control, process management, work-shift coordination, and are organized with great communication skills, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities:

 

Responsible for the workload planning, production, and execution of a fast-paced operation with 10+ hourly associates and the leadership and development of salaried leaders in a building of over 100,000 Sq ft.

 

The Shift Manager (2nd shift) will oversee associates whose hours are 3:00 pm - 12:00 am (or until the work is completed). May also require various shifts initially to understand all departments/business needs.

In addition to the responsibilities above, you will:Coordinate and ensure all safety and regulatory compliance in a proactive and positive mannerLead all aspects of shift operations to include order selection, shipping and trailer loading operationsEstablish weekly operations plans to ensure all customer volume is processed in a timely mannerWorkload planning is balanced to reach budget and production goalsLead all aspects of inventory control in our warehouse and overall quality program to meet daily levels of service and perfect order metricsResponsible for training all associatesPTO and "time off" management

 

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree preferred4+ years’ management experience in supply chain distributionWMS and LMS experience is requiredProficient in OSHA and DOT regulationsProject management experience desired (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile)Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required

Pay Range:

$4,124.70 - $9,075.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
