Certain roles at Tyson require background checks. If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended.

Job Details:

1.        with less than ninety (90) calendar days seniority; or

2.        who are unable to meet the trial period because they are not actively working when assigned for the trial period; or

3.        who are unable to physically perform the premium job when assigned, provided this clause does not conflict with any state or federal law; or

4.        with a suspension in the last three (3) months

5.        with no more than seven (7) points under the Attendance Policy

 

B.        Additionally: A Discretionary position is a job that is awarded to the most qualified candidate regardless of seniority. Discretionary positions are as follows: Leads and Manifestor Labor. All of the bidding procedures described above for non-discretionary positions shall apply to the bid process for discretionary positions. Where two (2) or more candidates are equally qualified, seniority will prevail.
