GENERAL PURPOSE
An Operations Technician 2 is part of our pay for skills program and allows individuals to continue to build skills providing opportunity to increase their compensation. Individuals at Level 2 have accumulated 3-4 skill blocks. Skill blocks may include skills in Assembly, Machine Operation or Material Handling.

Education/Experience
Machine Operation Skills and Abilities:
Competent in basic math skills such as counting, adding, and subtracting.Preferred advanced math skills related to ability to operate advanced systems or processes such as GDT (Geometric Dimensional Tolerances).Ability to use required measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, tape measure, etc.Ability to work cooperatively within the team as well as with members of other teams to meet goals.Demonstrated willingness to adapt to a continually changing environment and influence others.Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms for the duration of the shift.Ability to regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and move up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Required to talk and to be able to hear and see with or without correction.Who We Hire?
