POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

 

POSITION:2nd Shift Lead QA NSISTech

DEPARTMENT:Quality Control

LOCATION:Ottumwa

SALARY CLASS:Non-Exempt

 

Principle Responsibilities:

Knowledgeable in all production areas of the department, including product flow, Specs and quality.

Supervise QA employeesMonitor and ensure proper procedures, safety, and cleanliness of production of productPerform various quality control functions including but not limited to line inspection, audits.Inspect various product to assure compliance with Company specificationsOther duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

Production and maintenance settingsExposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knivesSlippery floors, extreme temperatures and loud noises

Requirements:

Experience working in Quality AssuranceComputer SkillsProduction experience preferred in a food processing facility. Good attendance record (Less than 3.0 points, for internal candidates)

Education: 

High School degree or equivalent required

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in EnglishGood Math SkillsSelf-StarterBilingual skills helpfulExcellent conflict resolution skillsComputer knowledge requiredGood organizational skillsAbility to work 50+ hoursGood attendance (3 or less points for internal) and safety recordsDependable and enthusiasticLeadership skillsGood people skills, ability to work well with others
