2nd shift - Industrial Maintenance Technician (PLANT 4)
The primary role of the Industrial Maintenance Technician is to develop the skills and ability to continuously improve the reliability, efficiency, and utilization of plant equipment and manufacturing processes. This is accomplished through training on the job with an experienced Technician and completion of vocational training through a local college. **Education** AA preferred but not required **Experience** **(minimum)** 1 year **Independence** Minimal supervision and considerable independence **Training Responsibilities** Able to train other technicians **Decision Making** Follows directions and makes basic technical decisions out on the production floor. **Problem Solving** Responds appropriately to problems and identify opportunities and create solutions while applying industrial knowledge **Results Oriented** Maximize equipment optimization to yield overall production goals for the plant and company. **Written Communication** Able to read and execute work orders and fill out requisitions. **Leadership** N/A **Technical Skills** A comprehensive knowledge of industrial mechanics. Basic understanding of tig welding principles, single phase & three phase electrical, motor control circuits, PLC's & frequency drives. **Accountabilities** + Apply industrial maintenance skills and knowledge to install, maintain, and repair plant systems and equipment. - 45% + Initiate and perform condition monitoring tasks including preventive and predictive maintenance. - 30% + Troubleshoot equipment failures to ascertain possible failure modes and participate with operations, plant engineering, suppliers, and other associates to improve equipment reliability. - 15% + Utilize the company's Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and supports its use as a key management information tool. - 5% + Recommend, develop, and implement system modifications to improve equipment operations and provide for attainment of plant and department goals. - 5% **Special Conditions** **Working conditions may include working in and around powder dust, cleaning agents, confined space entries, and climbing to high heights.** _Normal Shift Hours_ **- 2pm - 10 pm Tuesday - Saturday with OT scheduled as necessary** Shift Diff - **$1.00 per hour for 2nd shift** _Pay Rate_ **- Based on experience and qualifications (Wage Range - $22.00 to $27.00 + )** At Century Foods International we manufacture and market dairy proteins and nutritional products under private label and contract manufacturing agreements for the foods, sports, health and nutritional supplement industries.
