2nd Shift CNC Swiss Operator Tonawanda, NY (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=131+Fillmore+Avenue+Tonawanda+NY+USA+14150) Job Type Full-time Description Summary of Job: We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment. Machine Types at Facility: Swiss Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Operate, Maintain and Setup, CNC machinery from blueprints with tooling. + Work with Manufacturing Engineer on program changes to the machine, when needed. + Perform Quality check on parts for accuracy according to blueprint specs. + Identify product defects and work with QC team. + Conduct minor maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. + Perform all work in accordance with established safe operating procedures. + Work with team members and shift supervisor on the assembly line. Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. + Swiss machining experience required. + Knowledge of FANUC controls. + Knowledge of 4th axis operation, a plus. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Knowledge of programming machinery for specific tasks. + Able to use measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, etc. + Strong attention to detail and quality control practices. + Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting is advantageous. Physical Job Requirements and Work Environment + Safety is our top priority!
