Job Description
We are seeking a diligent 2nd shift Assemblers. You will initially train on the first shift before transitioning to the second shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with potential mandatory overtime extending to 12:30 PM. This role involves using hand and power tools to assemble assigned units, as well as utilizing computer screens to access job lists detailing units, parts, and tools needed.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble using hand and power tools.Utilize computer screens to access job lists, detailing assembly requirements.Ensure the highest hygiene standards are met in production lines.Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to 5S standards.Participate in training programs led by dedicated trainers.Essential SkillsProficiency in assembly using hand tools and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Mechanical assembly skills.Quality assurance skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required within one year of permanent conversion.Physical capability to lift 50 lbs (40 lbs independently).Ability to climb, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods.Regularly walk, sit, and reach during shifts.Why Work Here

Work Environment
The manufacturing floor is spacious, clean, and organized, with all sections clearly labeled by materials and production. The first shift runs from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with possible overtime until 4:30 PM. The second shift spans from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with potential requirements to arrive early or stay late for mandatory overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, Virginia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
