BDRs are responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for Zebra. We focus on prospecting and engaging potential customers through outreach methods like calls, emails, and social media to qualify leads and set up meetings for the sales team. By acting as the first point of contact, BDRs play a crucial role in building relationships, understanding customer needs, and driving the early stages of the sales pipeline.

 

The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!

Responsibilities:
Data management and reporting - ensure accurate up-to-date record-keeping in the CRM system or other systemsLead follow up - reaching out to inbound leads that have expressed interest in Zebra productsEvent follow up - reaching out to event leads that stopped by our booth and following up to see if they have any needs for Zebra productsAccount research - identifying key decision makers across our target accounts, as well as news, updates, and changes with key stakeholdersSupport outbound campaigns - assist in creating email templates, LI messages, centralizing contentProcess documentation - help document workflows, processes or best practices to create internal guides or training materialDevelop planning, organizational and leadership skillsIncrease technology knowledge and skillsDevelop team-based work proficienciesDevelop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities

THIS IS INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN CHICAGO - DOWNTOWN WITH THE EXPECTATION OF 5 DAYS IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Sales, Marketing, Communication, Management, General Business, or related discipline.  Must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2026-2027Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and growProven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiencesAbility to collaborate as part of a teamEffective verbal and written communication skills

Salary: USD 22.00 - USD 32.00 Hourly


Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
