Within Human Resources, we are hiring for five different departments – Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Product and Corporate Real Estate. With all of these teams in Human Resources, there will be inspiring opportunities that welcome you into the Schwab culture and immerse you over the course of your 9-week paid internship role. The interactive program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths!
Talent Acquisition (Opportunities in Westlake, Austin and Omaha)
In this role, the intern will learn core fundamentals of the recruiting lifecycle and execute on one or more projects that work to address current or future recruiting or market challenges we face as an organization. Intern will help evolve our practices to scale and adjust during challenging labor market shifts. Will collaborate with Talent Advisors and Sourcing Advisors to gain practical experience working with business partners and job seekers.
Talent Management (Opportunity in Westlake, Austin, or Omaha)
This role will support the teams responsible for implementing firm-wide business talent management initiatives. This may include coordinating and facilitating People Leader and employee initiatives, assisting in the creation/development of materials, researching best practices and latest trends within People Leadership and employee career development, and analyzing feedback/data to make recommendations on the continuous improvement of our programs/initiatives.
Total Rewards (Opportunity in Westlake, Austin or Orlando)
As a part of our Recognition team, you will have the opportunity to work on our Corporate Recognition programs which celebrates and recognizes employees in the firm. In this role, the intern will assist with the project management of the programs, communications to winners, and working with our event planning team on details for the celebration in October. You will build real-world experience improving multiple transferable skills such as communication, project management, and problem solving. You will also have exposure to our Compensation team and possible small compensation projects as available.
HR Product (Opportunity in Westlake, Austin or Orlando)
This position will be part of the HR Product Management team responsible for delivering HR technology solutions across all functions of HR with the focus on increasing HR’s efficiency, effectiveness and overall business impact. They will partner with HR Transformation, HR Workforce Intelligence and Schwab Technology in enhancing the technology capabilities of specific HR functions to support business growth and enhance user experience. This will include optimizing existing HR technologies and implementing new HR technologies. Working with their aligned HR function(s), they will identify and prioritize system enhancements, execute against the functional technology roadmap, manage and coordinate technology projects, provide insights and recommendations, conduct regular audits of system usage and performance, and monitoring industry trends and best practices to ensure innovative and forward-thinking.
Corporate Real Estate (Opportunities in Westlake)
The Corporate Real Estate, Corporate Property Intern will assist in managing vendor performance, processes, and quality standards for building and property services including, but not limited to, janitorial, landscape, specialty cleaning, employee moves and miscellaneous services to support building and property operations. The Intern will help manage the work order life cycle from issuance to closure. The Intern will participate in quality assurance programs, and drive towards a higher level of service as well as achieve maximum attainable scoring metrics as stipulated in Vendor contracts.

Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree programHave enough credit hours to put you at a junior level status at a 4-year college or universityHave not already completed your bachelor's degreeAble and willing to relocate at your own expense if relocation is neededAble to commit to working 40 hours a week for the 9 weeks of the internship dates of June 8, 2026 - August 7, 2026Able to start full time employment during business hours between August 2026 - September 2027Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications
