Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.Responsibilities:Maintain supplier relationships for assigned groups and act as primary point of contact for all communications.Support efforts to identify and implement supplier cost reductions.Assist in the selection and management of new and current suppliers.Support materials and quality teams to address supplier delivery and quality issues.Source materials for new product launches and product model changes.Support the supplier transition process by allocating work from an external supplier to in house production or vice versa, as needed.Coordinate request for quote packages with supply base to ensure premium pricing for materials.Manage materials projects by using problem solving techniques, data from factory information system, and lean manufacturing concepts.Contribute to a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusion, where everyone feels heard and understood, empowered, and valued.Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field required OR 3 years of experience considered in lieu of degree
Years of Experience: 0-2 years of experience required
Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, ERP system, SAP, and Teamscenter experience preferred
