Love your job.** **Product Engineering Intern** **Department: Test Engineering, TMG A/T** As a Product Engineering Intern, you'll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. **Internship projects may include:** + Testing and troubleshooting issues + Developing production and characterization test specifications + Creating and managing product documentation + Providing product development support, which involves interfacing with design, test engineering, quality engineering, and other groups + Designing, debugging, and correlating test hardware and software + Designing interface and measurement circuits to make tester capabilities compatible with product definitions You'll have direct involvement in the entire lifecycle of the products in your assigned product portfolio, including product definition, qualification, manufacturing, cost optimization, and quality. In addition, you will have the chance to resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitate cross-functional teams in problem solving activities. **Process Engineering Intern** **Department: Test Engineering, TMG A/T** Internship projects may include: + Perform Process Simplification and optimization to improve quality and productivity + Responsible for outgoing quality by safe guarding process flows, lot rejection, Hold lots disposition and Yield Improvement + Analyze defects and work together with Post Test, Test, EOL and FOL engineering team and CQE to perform RCA (root cause analysis) with robust CAPA and audit CAPA for effectiveness + Establish, enhance, maintain and audit process flow, FMEA, MSA, SOP and Work Instruction + Execute programs in line with department goals and objectives **Equipment Engineering Intern** **Department: Assembly Engineering, TMG A/T** Internship projects may include: + Responsible for evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products. + Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Keeps current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. + Studies equipment performance and reliability. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. + Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. + Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules. If you are interested in this position, please apply to this requisition. **Minimum Requirements:** + Pursuing a **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering** , or a related field + **Cumulative 3.3/4.0 GPA, or higher** + Currently in **Year 3 or Year 4 of Engineering studies** , with compulsory internship requirement as per university guidelines **Preferred Qualifications:** + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills + Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions + Ability to take the initiative and drive for results + Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment + Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships + Coursework providing knowledge and background in semiconductor processing, process control methodology and/or device failure analysis. + Proficiency with bench level test equipment (i.e., DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, multi-meters). + Experience with LabView, Spoffire, MatLab, JAVA, C++, and/or other programming skills **ECL/GTC Required:** Yes
