What is the opportunity?

Please note: This posting is for a 4-month placement with a start date of September 2025 and end-date of December 2025 OR an 8-month placement with a start date of September 2025 and end-date of April 2026.

In order to be eligible for this 4-months or 8 Months Student position, you must either:

Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of December 2025/April 2026; orIf you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in December 2025/April 2026), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

In the program, as a RBC Ambassador inside our branches, you will put clients first and find solutions to their individual needs. You will champion the RBC brand and drive business by supporting new client acquisition and deepening existing relationships. You will also need to successfully complete your of the Investment Funds in Canada course. Lastly, you'll continue through the term drawing on your self-motivation to deliver exceptional customer service and participate in the Banking Advisor Training building your skills to a full-time position upon graduation.

This Co-op / Internship Program provides a head start to post-secondary students interested in becoming full-service Banking Advisors in Personal Banking upon Graduation.   Students who have succeeded in previous client facing Internship and Co-op Roles are now thriving as full-time RBC employees providing financial advice to clients in their communities.  Open the door to the first of many opportunities at RBC and experience the challenges and rewards of working in the financial services industry.

What will you do?

Proactively engage with clients in the branch and deliver an outstanding service experience through completing transactions and by identifying opportunities for advice, solutions, digital enablement, and partner introductionsFocus on education and demonstration, leverage technology to deliver a memorable client experience, drive solutions and retain businessContribute to team results by listening and spotting opportunities to offer additional advice, introduce clients to the capability of RBC partners, or personally fulfil client solutionsProactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problemsCultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC teamManage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests while completing transactions

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Demonstrated passion for putting clients first, as well as success in hands-on, target-driven solutions environmentDrive and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication skills and emotional intelligenceDigital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)Ability to work a variety of shiftsEagerness to learn and determination to succeedConfidence and ability to learn financial concepts and successfully complete the Investment Funds in Canada accreditation before the end of the 4-month term.
