Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities :
Lead the thermal system engineering activities of specific product design areas with an international team.
Develop solutions for customer needs and actively support the business unit in product business acquisitions with worldwide customers.
Develop and maintain electric vehicle thermal system models/topologies and component models in 1D tools like GT-Suite and Amesim
Collaborate with thermal system labs to verify and validate simulation results
Analyze simulation results for system and product impacts
Drive activities with technical content and individual contributions
Work in team of ~10 engineers to identify winning thermal system technologies and component requirements for electric and plug-in-hybrid vehicles
Combine experimental data, simulation results, market trends, and customer inputs to draw conclusions about future product requirements
Communicate with Bosch-internal stakeholders, collaboration partners, and external customers
Experience with thermal system design
Simulation experience (thermal modelling e.g. GT-Suite, Amesim or Simulink, FEA, CFD, etc.)
Experience with data processing (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink)
Experience with air-moving and fluid-moving products
Experience with refrigerant and coolant system/ products
Experience with controls systems
Experience with innovation projects and developing new products
Experience in automotive domain
Working knowledge how to analyze and simulate thermal systems using commercial software
Interest in professional development and new learning opportunities
Experience with customer communications
Demonstration of strong communication skills
QualificationsEducational qualification:
B.E/B.Tech/Masters in mechanical engineering or mechatronics engineering
